The citizen’s centre in Schweina features an affectionately-decorated Fröbel Memorial Room, which is a reminder of the tradition of kindergarten teacher training in the area. On exhibition are craft and play ideas following Fröbel’s philosophy, as well as numerous photographs and gifts from around the world. The book, “Papa of all Kindergartens” (“Papa aller Kindergärten”), is also available to read.
